We're proud to be pumping septic tanks and grease traps as usual this fall, and like many essential businesses who have remained open during the coronavirus pandemic, we thought it was a good idea to provide our clients and customers a quick update on how we're handling things. Your safety is our #1 priority, followed closely by our commitment to providing great rates and friendly septic service in the Twin Tiers area. With that in mind, here are a few changes we've made and policies we've implemented to avoid the spread of germs of all kinds.
We've Updated Payment Options
So we can avoid any face to face contact and complete our jobs from a safe distance, we're offering same-day phone payment. We're also happy to accept personal checks. If you're comfortable with paying at the time of service, our drivers are taking all necessary precautions to follow social distancing guidelines.
We Are Actively Wiping Down Our Trucks & Equipment
We work in a dirty business but we pride ourselves on our clean trucks. In light of the COVID-19 situation, we are actively disinfecting the interior of our service vehicles after every job and our drivers and technicians are using hand sanitizer regularly to avoid spreading germs.
We Have Some Employees Working from Home
We take our employees health and safety seriously. While most of our team is working safely here at our facilities, we have some team members who are working from home to keep elderly parents and immune compromised children safe. It's our goal to make sure our customers and our team members feel comfortable and stay healthy as we work to get back to normal.
We appreciate your support of our business during this time and hope you feel 100% safe scheduling regular or same-day service with us. Whether it's
septic system maintenance
and you're due for your tank to be cleaned or you need a line opener after-hours, remember we're open for business. Give us a call today at
607-564-7931, and be sure to support your other local favorites this fall.
Here are a few ideas for supporting local businesses during the Coronavirus shut-down this fall:
- Order a pizza for dinner from your favorite family-owned pizzeria!
- Grab coffee from a local shop with drive-thru or pick-up instead of your usual Starbucks or Dunkin.
- Shop at a local grocery store as opposed to a big box store.
- Shop local retail stores for gifts and "non-essential" items instead of ordering everything from Amazon.
- Purchase a gift card for your favorite restaurant to use when dine-in service is normal again.
