4 Ways Video Pipe Inspections Help Diagnose Tough Problems

Clean Earth Septic • April 18, 2022
Clean Earth Septic offers video pipe inspections and sewer and drain line cleaning throughout the Twin Tiers areas.

At Clean Earth Septic, our goal is to offer the best and most efficient service to each of our clients. Whether your home or business requires emergency pumping or you’re calling to schedule routine maintenance for your septic tank or grease trap, you can rest assured we use the latest technology to tackle every problem. One of the ways we diagnose backups and open clogged lines is with the help of camera inspections. Keep reading to learn more or contact us today to schedule service. Our team is standing by.

How does it work?
When there appears to be a backup or a clog in your sewer line, we snake a cable down the pipe(s) with a specialized camera on the end. We receive video feed back that shows us exactly what’s happening after you flush, use the sink etc. Our video cable can extend meters beneath the ground to show us if there’s a problem in the pipes directly under your kitchen or bathroom, or further down the waterline.

What Are the Benefits?

  • Video technology allows us to diagnose exactly what is causing the problem in your pipes.
We can see if the problem is merely a grease backup that needs to be broken up with our high pressure water jet, or if there is another issue like a damaged pipe, corrosion, or roots in the line.

  • A video pipe inspection shows us exactly where your problem is located.
If there’s a damaged pipe or corrosion that requires repair, a camera inspection saves us time by telling us where to dig or expose the pipes in question.

  • Saving time means saving money.
If your home or business is experiencing a backup, the quicker we can diagnose and resolve your issue, the quicker we can get our job done and get you back in business.

  • A video pipe inspection can offer peace of mind.
If you’ve had problems with your septic or grease lines in the past and high pressure jetting hasn’t corrected the issues, a thorough camera inspection can go a step further and tell us how clean your lines truly are, or if there is still build-up, causing slow flow. Our team is happy to go the extra mile and perform a video pipe inspection to get to the root of your problem.
